In summary StillPeaks Detailed Hydrocarbon Analysis software identifies temperature programmed gas chromatographic peaks using the Temperature Programmed GC Kovats index (TPGC Kovats index) from databases generated by Virtual GC.

Virtual GC predicts chromatograms of hundreds of peaks from input of the TPGC column dimensions, program and pneumatics. It will be explained how TPGC peak times are derived from isothermal Kovats data.

Virtual GC predictions comply with the coelutions and separations of Benzene, Toluene and Dimethylbenzene on polyDimethylSilicone ASTM methods D 6729, D 6730 and D 6733. Virtual GC can compare separation number and index width at half peak heigh of TPGC methods.
